Laskers Raises $3500 for Two Local Charities

Lasker Jewelers raised nearly $3500 for two local non-profits over the holiday season and will present checks to both the Boys and Girls Club and The Community Table on Monday.

“One of the core values of our company is giving back to the community. Jewelry is something that is not a need yet there are so many needs in our community, especially during the holidays,” said Lasker owner Nicole Lasker.

Lasker purchased snowflake ornaments that sparkled like diamonds and offered them as a gift to customers for a minimum $10 donation to one of the two non-profits. Lasker Jewelers then matched all of the customer donations, doubling the giving and bringing the donation total for the Boys and Girls Club to $1155.80 and the total for The Community Table to $2290.

“Our customers loved it. They received a beautiful ornament while making a donation to a local cause,” added Lasker.

Lasker Jewelers is a family owned fine jewelry store that has served Eau Claire, Wisconsin, since 1928 and Rochester, Minnesota, since 1972. Over 80 years ago Max Lasker had a simple mission statement that lives on today, “Provide each customer with the attention and respect they deserve.” Eau Claire Lasker Jewelers has been managed by Nicole Lasker for 14 years.
